Small Business Support Program
If you’re a business, sole trader or not-for-profit organisation in NSW and you were unfortunately impacted by the Omicron wave of COVID-19 you may be eligible for a payment to support cashflow and maintain your employees.
Eligible businesses will receive one payment covering the 4-week period of February 2022, no payment is provided for January 2022.
For an employing business, the payment will be equivalent to 20% of weekly payroll for work performed in NSW:
- minimum payment will be $750 per week
- maximum payment will be $5,000 per week
Weekly payroll is calculated based on the most recent BAS lodged for a tax period that falls within the 2021-22 financial year. Help on how to calculate this can be found at Guidelines for calculating your weekly payroll
For non-employing businesses, such as a sole-trader, you may be eligible to receive a payment of $500 per week.
Applications are now open at https://mybusiness.service.nsw.gov.au/rebate/2022-small-business-support-program/ready-to-start and close on 31st March 2022.
